– Worked on Lily.
– Removed the two structures from Lily. George Wellington has offered to refurnish them. Thanks George.
– Started task of removing weeds.
– Removed switch target for painting.
May 22, 2019
– Worked on Lily.
– More weeding.
– Added two plants where weed removal left bare spots.
– Added ballast where needed.

– Worked on Lily. Finished weeding.
– Completed ballasting around Lily.
– Removed debris from between rails.
– Cleaned up patio stones.

– Weeds removed on Blockhouse spur, track was lifted and re-ballasted.

A full crew on hand plus some.
It was such a great day with no rain in the forecast it was time to get some painting done. Got a good start on staining the fascia boards.

– Routine grounds and RoW maintenance.
– More painting done despite the rain the day before. Two more sessions may finish it off. Well, the fascia boards anyway.

– Worked solo today.
– Note – area needs to be whipper snipped – next week.
– Weeded pretty much the entire layout.
– Added ballast to areas that were low.
– Filled low area at Bellamy.
– Removed debris (small cedar bows and seeds) from track bed near cedars.

Back to our fall/spring crew. Thanks summer crew for all the extra help!

– Added ballast to the east end of Mercer flat.
– Added ballast on Mercer flat double tracking.
– Cleaned up the top deck underneath the cedar (near Mount St.Helen’s) and beech tree (Bellamy Diamond).
– Edged sidewalk in front of crew lounge.
Hopefully next week the painting can continue.
