Hi ! I’ve visited your website a few times and I keep seeing pictures of a black EMD NW-2 with the old Canadian National markings. Was this a standard issue from USA Trains or is it a custom paint job ?
Thanks
The NW-2 was my custom paint job. The black was Krylon Semi-Flat Black. Unfortunately it is no longer sold. The closest is Krylon Satin Black.
The road name and other lettering were CDS dry transfers. The gentlemen making these transfers retired several years back and sold the business to an American supplier.
The railings were air brushed with Floquil CNR yellow. Another product that is no longer sold.
The frame stripes and step stripes were made from a sheet of Testor decals paper. Again they were air brushed with Floquil CNR yellow.
The Ottawa Valley Garden Railroad Society is located in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.

The bell was sprayed with Krylon gold.
